Sheffield, the outdoor city: places on a session, and the question “is it still on?”
With the Peak District on the doorstep, Sheffield has more climbing walls, bike shops, guides and outdoor instructors than most cities its size. Their bookings have limited places and depend on the weather. This page shows how to set up sessions with capacity, answer the questions that come with them and post changes quickly.
- Sessions and courses with a fixed number of places
- Weather and kit rules answered from your entries

Outdoor city
A wet Saturday for a small climbing and walking guide service
A made-up example. The business runs indoor climbing taster sessions and guided walks in the Peak. Places, kit lists and a weather rule are saved as entries.
- 06:30The forecast is poor on the edges. The guide decides to move the walk indoors and updates the weather entry.
- 07:00A scheduled post is edited and goes out on Instagram, Facebook and the Google Business Profile: today’s walk moves to a bouldering session in the city.
- 07:20Four people ask “is it still on?” on WhatsApp and Messenger. The assistant repeats the update from the entry and confirms the new start time.
- 09:00Two people prefer to cancel. They use the link in their confirmation email; the places free up.
- 09:30Someone books one of the freed places through the website chat.
Questions an activity business answers every week
- “Do I need any experience?” Levels for each session, written once.
- “What should I bring?” Kit list, what you provide, what to wear.
- “Is it on if it rains?” Your weather rule and when you decide.
- “Can kids come?” Minimum age, whether an adult must join.
- “Where do we meet?” Meeting point, parking, nearest bus or tram stop.
- “Can I get a refund?” Your policy in the entries; individual cases handed to you.

Steel, seven hills and the Peak: Sheffield in brief
Sheffield made its name in steel and cutlery and now calls itself the Outdoor City, with a third of its boundary inside the Peak District National Park. Two large universities keep it young, Kelham Island is known for its pubs and food, and Ecclesall Road and Sharrow Vale are lined with independents. In spring the snooker world championship comes to the Crucible, and in summer a big music festival takes over the city.
Climbing walls, bike shops, outdoor instructors, running coaches and cafés that serve walkers are part of everyday life here. Many are small, run by people who are out on the rock or the trail during the day.
Their bookings have something in common: limited places, rules about kit and experience, and plans that may change with the weather. Customers want clear answers before they commit their Saturday.

An agency for your adventure brand, or the bookings in your own hands?
AYDUKE is not an agency and does not shoot your photos or write your posts. It schedules what you produce, answers questions and fills places.
In your own hands
Connect your accounts through your own developer app with OAuth, using the step-by-step guides in the panel. Upload photos from the crag or trail, plan posts for the week, and let the assistant handle bookings.
With an agency, or as one
An agency can keep producing videos and schedule them here too. Freelancers who manage several outdoor businesses can run their accounts from one login within their plan’s account limit and send XLSX or CSV reports. The free reseller programme at /bayilik.php pays commission while referred businesses stay on a paid plan. AYDUKE is online software from a UK-registered company, with no office in Sheffield.

Frequently asked questions
Can the assistant decide to cancel a session for bad weather?
No. You decide and update your entry; the assistant then repeats your decision. It has no weather data of its own.
Can people book several places at once?
Sessions have a set number of places. Test group bookings in the demo to see how they work for your set-up.
Do customers get text reminders?
Not in the UK at present. They get confirmation and reminder emails with a link to view or cancel.
Can I post videos to YouTube and TikTok?
Yes, both accept video only, and AYDUKE checks the file before scheduling. Messages and comments there are not answered through AYDUKE.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe, where card details never touch AYDUKE’s servers, or by bank transfer. See plans.
