One chair or five locations: booking and posting across Houston
The metro is wide enough that many local brands open a second and third address long before they feel like a chain. This page compares how a single-location shop and a multi-location business use AYDUKE differently, from the booking calendar to the inbox.
- Each specialist gets their own working hours and days off
- Every connected account and every message in one panel
- The system only offers times that are really open
Free for 7 days, no credit card required
Two setups
Solo shop or several locations: pick your column
Same software, set up two ways. Start with the column closer to where your business is today.
One location, the owner does most things
- One calendar with your hours, breaks and days off
- Each service with a length, a buffer and a price
- The assistant answers Instagram DMs, Messenger and website chat while you are with a client
- Posts for Instagram, Facebook and Google scheduled in one weekly sitting
Several locations, a small office team
- Every specialist listed with their own working hours
- Classes or tables set up with a fixed number of spots
- One unified inbox, so the office sees every channel together
- Per-platform publishing reports exported as XLSX or CSV for managers
AYDUKE has no separate workspace for each location. What it offers is one panel where every connected account, every specialist and every conversation sit side by side.
Why so many local businesses end up with more than one address
People here plan around the drive. A barbershop that does well in Montrose often opens a second shop closer to where its regulars moved; a dental office near the Galleria adds a practice farther out. Customers choose whichever location is closest today, not the one they visited last time.
Houston is also a very multilingual city, and the energy, medical and port economies bring a steady flow of new residents and business travelers. Questions arrive in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and other languages through Instagram, Messenger and website chat, with WhatsApp common in some communities.
The heat shapes the day too. Through the summer many people prefer early morning or evening appointments and skip the midday drive, so a booking made from the couch at night often replaces a walk-in at noon.
Sectors that tend to grow into several locations
Dental offices and orthodontists
Consultation slots per dentist, with a booking form that asks only for name, contact and time. More: dental offices, orthodontists.
Barbershops
Walk-ins still happen, but regulars want a fixed chair. Put each barber on their own hours and let the chat book them directly. More: barbershops.
Gyms
Class timetables posted weekly, trial sessions with limited spots. More: gyms.
Auto repair shops
People ask what an oil change or brake check costs and how long it takes. Put standard services and times in the knowledge base and offer drop-off slots. More: auto repair shops.
BBQ restaurants
Large groups and catering questions on weekends. Set a capacity per time slot so tables do not overlap. More: BBQ restaurants.
Franchises
Brand posts go to every location account at once, local posts only where they belong. More: franchises.
Who handles what, depending on your size
| Task | Single location | Several locations |
|---|---|---|
| Answering DMs | Autonomous mode after a trial period in drafts | Draft mode for sensitive topics, the office approves |
| Posting | One weekly session, same post to Instagram, Facebook and Google | Brand posts to every location account, plus local posts per location |
| Bookings | Automatic confirmation | Business approval for some services, such as longer consultations |
| Phone bookings | The owner adds them by hand | The front desk adds them by hand in the same calendar |
| Reporting | A look at the 30-day report | XLSX or CSV exports for each manager |
The assistant hands a chat to a person when the customer asks or when a handover keyword you set appears. When a visitor accepts live support, you get an SMS and email alert.
A customer choosing a shop and a time
An example written for this page, not a real customer. The times shown are pulled from the live calendar.
When the requested time is taken, the assistant offers what is actually free. It never squeezes someone into a slot the calendar does not show.
Agencies, consultants and running it in-house
Searching for a Houston social media agency or consultant? AYDUKE is not one. It is software that covers the routine side (planned posts going out on time, replies, bookings) so that work can run in-house. An agency you already trust can keep doing the creative.
- If you keep your agency They plan and deliver the creative; posts are scheduled in AYDUKE, and replies and bookings no longer wait on anyone.
- If you are the agency Manage several local clients from one panel within your plan account limit, with one calendar across brands and reports as XLSX or CSV.
- If you refer clients The reseller program costs nothing to join, and commission is paid for as long as the businesses you referred keep paying.
Adding a second location without starting over
Connect the new accounts
Add the new Instagram account and Facebook page within your plan account limit, using the same step-by-step guides and your own developer app.
Add the people
List the specialists at the new address with their own hours and days off, and make the location clear in their names.
Copy what already works
Copy an existing post into a new one for the second location and change the address and hours.
Update the knowledge base
Add the new address, parking and opening hours so the assistant can answer questions about either location. If the location has its own page on your website, the weekly site scan (up to 500 pages, Shopify and WooCommerce catalogs included) picks it up; your manual entries still take priority.
Share the calendar
Managers can subscribe to the booking calendar from Google, Apple/iCloud or Outlook via ICS.
Medical practices
Clinics and practices around the medical center should use chat and booking for scheduling only. Leave out fields for symptoms or health history, and tell the assistant not to ask about treatments. AYDUKE does not claim HIPAA compliance, so keep protected health information out of it and review your obligations with your own compliance advisor.
Set up one location in the demo first
The demo account opens at sign-up with no credit card. Set up one location, send a few test messages, then decide how you would add the rest.
Frequently asked questions
How do we handle bookings for two Houston locations?
Give each specialist their own working hours and make the location clear in the specialist or service name, so customers pick the right one. There is no separate workspace per location, so try the setup in the demo before committing.
Can the assistant reply in Spanish or Vietnamese?
The reply language is a setting you choose in the panel, together with tone and signature. Test a few real customer questions in draft mode and read the answers before you let it reply on its own.
Can the assistant warn customers about flooded roads or closures?
No. It has no live information about weather, traffic or road conditions. If you close for a storm, update your hours in the knowledge base and schedule a notice to your accounts.
Do our customers get reminders by text?
In the US, customer reminders go out by email, together with a confirmation email and a link to view or cancel. Text messages to customers currently work only for Turkish numbers. You still get new-booking alerts by SMS and email.
Is there someone from AYDUKE in Houston who can set this up?
No. AYDUKE is remote software with no local office. Setup is done by you in the panel with step-by-step guides, and help is available through the contact page.
