Straight answers
The ten questions, answered plainly
- 1. Can the assistant answer in Spanish? You choose the assistant's reply language in the settings. Many owners here pick the language most of their customers use. Do not count on it switching languages by itself from one message to the next; test with your real questions in the demo.
- 2. A lot of our customers use WhatsApp. Is it covered? Yes for messages: WhatsApp chats land in the same inbox as Instagram DMs and Messenger. AYDUKE does not publish posts to WhatsApp. Most local shops still get more first contact through Instagram, Facebook and the website chat.
- 3. Will customers get a text before the appointment? No. In the US, customers get confirmation and reminder emails with a link to view or cancel. Your business gets new-booking alerts by SMS and email.
- 4. Is there someone local we can call? AYDUKE has no office in Laredo or elsewhere in Texas. It is online software, with a step-by-step guide for each setup task and a contact page for support.
- 5. Can people pay or place orders in the chat? No. The assistant can explain how you take payment, from your own records, but orders and payments stay in your own channel.
- 6. Can we post in English and Spanish? Yes. Write both versions in one post, or schedule two posts. The platform check makes sure the longer bilingual caption still fits each platform's character limit.
- 7. How long does setup take? Honestly, it depends on how many accounts you connect. Each one links through your own developer app over OAuth, and the panel walks you through every screen. It is careful work, not a single click.
- 8. What happens when the assistant does not know? It does not make things up. It offers to pass the conversation to you, and if the customer accepts live support, you get an SMS and email.
- 9. We are a customs broker. Does this make sense for B2B? For publishing and first questions, yes: LinkedIn, Facebook and X posts from one calendar, and a website chat that answers office hours and document checklists from your records. It gives no legal or customs advice of its own. LinkedIn and X are publishing only.
- 10. I manage social accounts for several local businesses. Can I use it? Yes. Connect client accounts within your plan's account limit, plan everything in one calendar and export publishing reports as XLSX or CSV. The reseller program is free and pays commission while businesses you refer keep paying.
A weekend shopper from across the river asks about a salon visit
An example conversation, not a real customer. The times come from the salon calendar; the owner wrote the notes about parking and currency into the records.
This salon set English as the reply language because its website and most messages are in English. A shop whose customers mostly write in Spanish would choose Spanish instead.
Who writes to a Laredo business, and how to meet them
| Customer | Usually reaches you through | What to post | What to set up |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekend shoppers from Nuevo Laredo | Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp | Weekend hours, new arrivals, holiday sales | Clear records on currency, parking and hours |
| TAMIU and Laredo College students | Instagram DM, the chat link in your bio | Student offers, short clips | Evening and weekend booking times |
| Local families | Facebook page and groups, Google Business Profile | Events, school-break hours, staff faces | Bookings with room for two or three people at once |
| Freight and logistics clients | Website chat, LinkedIn | Hiring posts, service updates | Office hours and document checklists as records |
Two or three posts a week is plenty for most shops. Keep a steady pace rather than a burst before the holidays and silence after.

About language, one more time. Set the reply language that fits most of the people who write to you, and add handoff keywords in both English and Spanish, such as "manager" and "hablar con alguien", so anyone the assistant cannot help reaches a person quickly.
Hiring a Laredo social media agency versus doing the routine yourself
AYDUKE is software, not an agency. If an agency already makes your photos or ads, that can stay. What moves in-house is the part that repeats every day.
What an agency is good for
- Bilingual campaign ideas and copy
- Photo shoots and short videos
- Paid ads aimed at both sides of the border
What AYDUKE takes off your hands
- Posting on schedule to every connected account
- Answering DMs, Messenger and WhatsApp from your records
- Booking from your real calendar
- Reports you can open in a spreadsheet
From sign-up to a working inbox
Connect your accounts
Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile and WhatsApp through your own developer apps, following the guide in the panel.
Have the assistant read your site
Up to 500 pages, refreshed weekly, including Shopify or WooCommerce catalogs. Only a site you have verified is scanned.
Write the border questions yourself
Currency, parking, weekend hours, whether you ship. Manual records take priority over anything the site says.
Choose language, tone and mode
Pick the reply language and tone, then start in draft mode so you approve each reply before it goes out.
Open bookings
Services with durations and capacity, auto-confirm or approval, and your cancellation window.
Ask the eleventh question in the demo
The free demo account opens at sign-up, with no credit card. Every platform and core feature is on and AI credits are included, so you can try your own questions in English and Spanish.
Frequently asked questions
Our hours change during the Washington's Birthday Celebration. How do we keep chat answers right?
Change your working hours or add a break in the calendar, and add a short record about the event. Then schedule a Google Business Profile and Facebook post so people see the change before they come.
Customers ask about bridge wait times. Can the assistant tell them?
No. It has no live information and will not guess. It can share the general notes you wrote, such as which bridge is closest to your store.
We prepare taxes and are packed from January to April. How do we avoid overbooking?
Set each service's duration and buffer, limit how far ahead people can book, and let the system show only real open times. There is no double booking, and phone appointments can be added by hand.
Our store is downtown near the bridges. What should we post, and where?
Weekend hours and new stock before Friday, on Facebook and Instagram, plus a Google Business Profile post whenever hours change. Two or three posts a week are enough for most shops.
