What booking with you looks like from the customer's side
Most people in Bakersfield who message a local business are fitting it around long workdays in the fields, packing houses, oil operations or on Highway 99. This page follows one customer planning a quinceañera, step by step, through what she sees and what the business sees, so you can judge whether AYDUKE fits your shop.
- Facebook Messenger and Instagram answered from your own records
- Real open times from your calendar, never guessed

Meet the customer
Nine at night, after a ten-hour shift
Imagine Ana, who works at a packing house during harvest season and is planning her daughter's quinceañera. She has three things to book: hair and makeup for the morning, a party rental company for tables and a venue for the evening. She does it the way most people here do, on her phone, on Facebook, late at night, often switching between English and Spanish.
She is not going to call anyone at 9 p.m. She wants to know if you are free, what it costs roughly and whether she can book without waiting until tomorrow. Everything below is written from her side of the screen. It is an illustration, not a real customer.
Her first message to a hair and makeup artist
An example conversation. The artist chose English as the reply language and added her packages to the knowledge base. Times come from her calendar.
What she noticed, and why it mattered
- She got an answer right away The assistant replied from the artist's records. It did not guess anything that was not written there.
- The times were real The system checked the calendar, including bookings the artist had entered by hand from phone calls. No double booking.
- She never had to download anything It all happened in Messenger. She could just as well have used Instagram, the website chat or the chat link on a flyer.
- She got something in writing A confirmation email arrived, and a reminder email later, both with a link to view or cancel.
The same evening, seen from both sides
| Moment | What Ana sees | What the business sees |
|---|---|---|
| 9:04 p.m. | A reply with package details and two start times | The chat in the unified inbox |
| 9:06 p.m. | Her booking confirmed, email on its way | An SMS and email alert about the new booking |
| 9:15 p.m. | A reply from the party rental company about table counts | That company's assistant answered from its own records |
| Next morning | Nothing new, she is at work | The artist reviews the chat and adds a note |
| A few days before | A reminder email | The booking in the calendar, visible in list, day, week or month view |

A Bakersfield social media agency, or this setup?
AYDUKE is software, not an agency. It does not take photos or plan campaigns. It handles the routine that often gets outsourced: posting on schedule, answering questions, booking. You can keep an agency or freelancer for creative work.
Business owners
- Run Messenger, Instagram and website chat from one inbox
- Approve replies in draft mode or let them go out automatically
- Add phone bookings to the same calendar
Agencies and freelancers in Kern County
- Manage several clients in one panel within your plan's account limit
- See all scheduled posts in one calendar
- Export reports as XLSX or CSV
- Earn commission through the free reseller program while referred businesses pay
One thing Ana did not get: a text message. In the US, customer notifications go by email. Only the business gets SMS alerts. If your customers rely on texts, tell them in your booking rules and posts to watch for the email.

Frequently asked questions
Many of our customers write in Spanish. Can the assistant reply in Spanish?
You choose the reply language in the panel. If most of your customers write in Spanish, set Spanish and write your key answers clearly in the knowledge base. Anything unclear can be handed to you.
Is there an AYDUKE office in Bakersfield or the Central Valley?
No. AYDUKE is online software with no local office. Setup happens in the panel with guides, and support is available through the contact page.
During harvest our customers can only come very early or very late. Can the calendar handle that?
Yes. Set working hours per staff member, update them when the season changes, add breaks, and the system only offers times inside them.
Can we take a deposit for event bookings in the chat?
No. Payments stay in your own channel. Add your deposit policy and payment link to the records so the assistant can explain it.
We do not have a website. Can customers still book?
Yes. Use your chat link and QR code on Facebook, Instagram, your Google Business Profile and printed flyers.
