Booking the way San Jose customers already expect software to work

People here spend their workdays inside well-built software, and they notice when booking a haircut or a tutoring session is not. This page lists what they expect from an online booking system, where AYDUKE meets that expectation and where it does not.

  • Only slots that are really free, counting breaks, bookings and external calendars
  • A link in every confirmation email to view or cancel
  • Clear limits: no customer texts in the US, no payment collection

Free for 7 days, no credit card required

Customer expectations

Six expectations, and what AYDUKE does with each

  • Book without talking to anyone

Customers pick a service and a time in the chat on your site, in an Instagram DM or in Messenger, in plain words like "Thursday after 5".

  • No double bookings

Working hours, breaks, holidays, existing bookings and connected external calendars are all counted before a slot is offered.

  • Change it myself

Every confirmation email carries a link to view or cancel, within the cancellation window you set.

  • Rules I can see

You set how far ahead people can book, the cancellation deadline and the extra questions on the form, and the assistant explains them from your entries.

  • An answer at 11 p.m.

The AI assistant replies from your information at any hour, or holds drafts for you to approve.

  • A nudge before the day

A reminder email goes out before the appointment. In the US that reminder is an email, not a text.

Why expectations run high in the South Bay

San Jose sits at the center of the valley tech economy, and many residents build, test or sell software for a living. They book flights, groceries and rides in a few taps, and they judge a local business by the same standard. A voicemail box or a "DM us for availability" post feels slow to them.

It is also a family city with long commutes. Parents fit tutoring, after-school programs and swim lessons around work calls, and many households speak more than one language at home. Evenings and weekends are when the booking happens, often from a phone while waiting at school pickup.

Around Santana Row and downtown, salons, studios and restaurants compete for the same busy weeknights. In Japantown and the older neighborhoods, family-run shops keep regulars who have come for years. Both are better off with booking that simply works.

A parent booking a test prep seat after dinner

An example written for this page, not a real customer. The seat count comes from the capacity the center set for the group.

Customer: Hi, is there still space in the Saturday SAT prep group? Is it in person?
Assistant: Hi. The Saturday SAT group meets in person at our center from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and there are still seats this Saturday. Should I reserve one?
Customer: yes, for my daughter. can I pay online?
Assistant: Payment is handled at the front desk or through our own website checkout, not in this chat. I have reserved a seat for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Once you confirm, a confirmation email with a link to view or cancel arrives, and a reminder email follows before the session.
Customer: confirmed
Sample conversation. The assistant only answers from the information you give it.

The payment answer comes from the center knowledge base. AYDUKE does not take payments on behalf of the business; orders and payments stay in your own sales channel.

Honest limits worth knowing before you choose

Tech-minded buyers read the fine print, so here it is in plain terms.

What it does

  • Understands requests like "tomorrow at 7" and checks real availability
  • Handles group sessions and tables with a capacity
  • Gives each staff member their own hours
  • Lets you approve bookings or confirm them automatically
  • Subscribes from Google, Apple/iCloud or Outlook via ICS, and counts external events as busy
  • Exports the booking calendar as ICS, XLSX or CSV

What it does not do

  • Send text messages to US customers; confirmations and reminders go by email
  • Collect payment for your bookings; that stays in your own sales channel
  • Use live information such as traffic or weather in replies
  • Reply on X, LinkedIn, YouTube or TikTok; those are publishing-only
  • Connect in one click; accounts link through your own developer app with guides

For agencies and consultants setting this up for clients

If you were looking for a San Jose social media agency, AYDUKE is not one; it is the software. Owners run it themselves, and agencies or freelancers run it for their clients while keeping the creative side.

  • Connect several client accounts in one panel, within the plan's account limit.
  • See one posting calendar across brands, filtered by platform.
  • Export booking calendars as ICS, XLSX or CSV, and publishing reports as XLSX or CSV.
  • Join the reseller program at no cost and earn commission while the businesses you referred keep paying.

Setting it up the engineer way: test before launch

  1. Connect

Link Instagram, your Facebook page and Google through your own developer apps over OAuth, following the guides. Keys are stored encrypted.

  2. Model your services

Length, buffer, price and capacity per service; staff with their own hours; booking rules and form questions.

  3. Feed the assistant

Let it crawl your verified site, up to 500 pages refreshed weekly, with Shopify or WooCommerce catalogs read too. Bulk import or export entries as Excel or CSV. Manual entries override the crawl.

  4. Schedule the content

Weeknight posts on Instagram for people scrolling after work, a Google Business Profile post before each weekend, short how-to videos for TikTok and YouTube. The platform check validates each one.

  5. Try the edge cases

Book an overlapping slot, book outside hours, cancel from the email link, and check what happens each time.

Run your own test cases

The demo account is live at sign-up, with no credit card. All platforms and core features are enabled and AI credits are loaded, so you can try the edge cases yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Does the booking calendar work with our team Google or Outlook calendars?

You can subscribe to the AYDUKE booking calendar from Google, Apple/iCloud or Outlook via ICS. Events in connected external calendars count as busy time, so they block online slots.

Many San Jose families speak Vietnamese or Spanish at home. Can the assistant reply in those languages?

The reply language is something you set in the panel, along with tone and signature. Choose the one most of your customers write in and test a few questions in draft mode first.

Can the assistant warn customers about traffic on the freeway before an appointment?

No. It has no live traffic or weather information and does not guess. It sticks to your own information, such as parking notes and arrival instructions.

Is there an AYDUKE office in Silicon Valley?

No. AYDUKE is remote software without a local office. Everything is set up in the panel with step-by-step guides, and the contact page reaches us.
