Every channel a Newark customer uses, and one place to answer them

Newark customers reach you from an airport gate, a PATH train, an Ironbound sidewalk or a dorm room, each through a different app. This page goes channel by channel: what customers use it for here, what AYDUKE can do there, and where its limits are.

  • Messenger, Instagram DMs, WhatsApp and Telegram in a unified inbox
  • A website chatbot and chat link that book from your real calendar
  • Clear limits: no replies on X, LinkedIn, YouTube or TikTok

Channel by channel

Six ways Newark customers start a conversation

  • Instagram DMs

The first stop for diners, salon clients and students. AYDUKE replies to DMs and comments and schedules posts, as long as the account is a Business or Creator profile.

  • Facebook Messenger

Families and longtime residents often message the page directly. Replies to Messenger and page comments run through the same inbox, and posts can also go to Facebook groups.

  • Website chatbot

One line of code adds a chat window in your logo and colors, with no AYDUKE name. Travelers and professionals use it on laptops during the day.

  • Chat link and QR code

For shops with no website: put the link in your bio and Google profile, and the QR code on your window or menu.

  • WhatsApp

Many Portuguese, Brazilian and Latin American families here use it daily. AYDUKE answers WhatsApp messages but does not publish posts to it.

  • Google Business Profile

Where people check hours before they go. AYDUKE schedules posts there; reviews and profile messages are not answered.

An airport, a port, and a lot of people passing through

Newark is New Jersey’s largest city and a transport hub: a major international airport, one of the East Coast’s main container ports, and rail lines that carry commuters into Manhattan every morning. It is also the Essex County seat, home to insurance and corporate offices, Rutgers–Newark and NJIT, and venues such as the performing arts center and the downtown arena. The Ironbound, just east of Penn Station, is known for Portuguese, Brazilian and Spanish restaurants and bakeries.

All that movement spreads your customers across apps. A hotel guest asks through your website. A diner DMs from the train. A grandmother writes on WhatsApp. When each app has its own inbox on your phone, messages slip. Pulling them into one list, with an assistant answering the routine ones from your own information, is often the first real fix.

A table in the Ironbound before a game at the arena

A sample conversation written for this page, not a real guest. Table availability comes from the restaurant’s reservation calendar.

Customer: Hi, table for 4 on Friday around 5:30? We have tickets for the 7:30 game.
Assistant: Hello, and enjoy the game. Friday at 5:30 p.m. has room for four. Most guests heading to the arena finish in about an hour and a half. Shall I book it?
Customer: Yes please. Can we order the mixed grill for the table?
Assistant: The mixed grill is on the menu and you can order it when you arrive. Your table for four is booked for 5:30 p.m. Friday. A confirmation email is on its way.
Sample conversation. The assistant only answers from the information you give it.

Orders and payment stay with the restaurant. The assistant only confirms the menu item exists because it’s in the knowledge base.

Searching for a Newark social media agency?

AYDUKE is software, not an agency. It handles the routine, not the creative.

An agency covers

  • Photo and video production
  • Campaign ideas and copy
  • Paid ads

You cover with AYDUKE

  • Scheduling one post to every account
  • Answering DMs, Messenger, WhatsApp and comments
  • Booking tables and appointments
  • Reports for 7, 30 or 90 days, exportable as XLSX or CSV

Happy with your agency? Keep them. They can schedule in the same calendar while the inbox runs on your side.

Bringing the channels together

  1. Connect Meta first

Facebook, Messenger and Instagram connect through your own Meta developer app with OAuth. The panel has a step-by-step guide.

  2. Add WhatsApp and Telegram if you use them

WhatsApp follows its own guide; Telegram uses a bot token. Keys are stored encrypted.

  3. Install the website chatbot or share the link

Guides cover WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Google Tag Manager; elsewhere you paste the code.

  4. Teach the assistant and set its hours

Point it to your website, up to 500 pages refreshed weekly, and add your own entries. Choose working hours, tone, language and handover keywords. AI processing starts only after you consent.

Newark sectors with the busiest inboxes

  • Restaurants and bakeries in the Ironbound, fielding reservations and catering questions
  • Hotels and airport shuttle services answering travelers at every hour
  • Immigration lawyers booking consultations; the assistant gives no legal advice
  • Translation services quoting turnaround times from a price list you provide
  • Posting rhythm that works here: Instagram for food and venues, Facebook and its groups for families, a weekly Google Business Profile update, LinkedIn for professional offices (publishing only)

For agencies and freelancers in North Jersey: connect several clients’ accounts up to your plan’s account limit, see them on one calendar, and send each client an XLSX or CSV report. The reseller program is free and pays commission while the businesses you refer keep paying.

Frequently asked questions

Our Ironbound customers use WhatsApp a lot. Can AYDUKE handle that?

Yes, for messages. The assistant replies in WhatsApp from your knowledge entries. AYDUKE does not publish posts to WhatsApp.

Do guests get text reminders for reservations?

No. In the US, guests get confirmation and reminder emails with a view-or-cancel link. You receive new-booking alerts by SMS and email.

We’re an immigration law office near the courthouse. What should the chat collect?

Name, contact and a preferred consultation time. The assistant can explain office hours and languages spoken, but it gives no legal advice. Bar advertising rules apply to what you publish; this is not legal advice.

Does the assistant know about flight delays or train problems?

No. It has no live information. Add a late-arrival policy to your knowledge base so it can explain what happens if someone runs late.

Is there an AYDUKE office in New Jersey?

No. AYDUKE is online software; setup uses guides in the panel. Reach us through the contact page.
