Your first week with AYDUKE, planned for a Boise small business

Plenty of Boise businesses are young, or were started by people who moved here and built a customer base from scratch. Owners tend to do everything themselves: the work, the posts, the replies. This page lays out a realistic first week, one task a day, so posting, messaging and online booking are running by the weekend without taking over your evenings.

  • Seven short tasks, one per day, with no single click promises
  • An assistant that learns from your website and answers from your records
  • Chat bookings that pull open times from your real calendar

Free for 7 days, no credit card required

First-week plan

Monday to Sunday, one job per day

Each task fits into about an hour after closing. Some take longer the first time, mostly because of the developer app step.

  1. Monday: connect Instagram and Facebook

Accounts link through your own Meta developer app over OAuth. The panel has a step-by-step guide. Instagram needs to be a Business or Creator account.

  2. Tuesday: add Google Business Profile and the rest

Google connects the same way. Add TikTok or YouTube only if you actually post video. Keys are stored encrypted.

  3. Wednesday: let the assistant read your site

Enter your website address and confirm you own it. The assistant follows the sitemap and links, reads up to 500 pages and turns prices, FAQs and contact details into records. It refreshes weekly. Shopify and WooCommerce catalogs are read too.

  4. Thursday: fill the gaps by hand

Add what the site does not say: parking in the North End, whether dogs are welcome, your winter hours. Typed entries override the website when they disagree.

  5. Friday: set up services and the calendar

Give each service a duration, buffer and price, staff their own hours, and link your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar so personal events count as busy.

  6. Saturday: run a test conversation

Message your own chat link from your phone. Ask the questions customers ask. Keep replies in draft mode until you like what you see.

  7. Sunday: schedule the next two weeks

Write four to six posts, pick the accounts for each and let the calendar publish them.

Saturday's test run, as a massage studio might write it

This is an example of the kind of test owners run, not a real customer. Open times come from the studio's calendar.

Customer: Do you have a 90-minute massage Tuesday after 5? Sore from skiing at Bogus.
Assistant: Tuesday has a 90-minute opening at 5:30 PM and another at 7:00 PM. Which would you like?
Customer: 5:30. Is there parking?
Assistant: Yes, there are two spots behind the building and free street parking after 6. I have booked Tuesday at 5:30. You will get a confirmation email now and a reminder email the day before, each with a link to view or cancel.
Sample conversation. The assistant only answers from the information you give it.

If the assistant had answered something wrong, the owner would fix the record, not the reply. It never guesses at openings or policies it has not been given.

Treasure Valley businesses that get the most from the first week

  • Yoga and climbing

Class capacity keeps drop-ins from overfilling a room. See yoga studios and climbing gyms.

  • Breweries and taprooms

Event nights, food truck schedules and group table requests. See breweries.

  • Dog groomers

Trail dogs need regular baths. Each groomer gets their own schedule. See dog groomers.

  • Photographers

Foothills sessions and graduation portraits near campus, booked by session length. See photographers.

  • Landscapers

Spring estimates booked in chat, phone jobs added by hand. See landscaping companies.

Why a one-week plan suits this city

Boise's small business scene is full of owner-operators: a stylist who left a bigger city, a trail running coach, a couple who opened a bakery in Hyde Park. Customers here are friendly but busy, and a lot of them spend free time outside on the Greenbelt, in the foothills or on the river. They book when they are back at their phone, often in the evening.

That is why the plan puts the website scan and booking setup early. Once the assistant knows your services and the calendar is open, evening messages get answered without you, and you see the new bookings as an SMS and an email.

What to post through a Boise year

Content here follows the outdoors and the university calendar more than any day-of-week rule.

Two or three posts a week is plenty. AYDUKE checks each post against platform rules, such as caption length and media type, before it can be scheduled.

Hiring a Boise social media agency, or doing week one yourself

AYDUKE is software, not an agency. It will not write your posts or take your photos. What it does is let you run the routine yourself. If you already pay an agency or a freelancer for content, you can keep that and use AYDUKE for scheduling, replies and bookings.

Frequently asked questions

Is one week really enough to get set up?

For most small businesses, yes, if you spend an hour or so a day. The developer app step can take longer the first time; the guide in the panel covers it.

Our customers are used to getting a text before appointments. What happens instead?

Customers in the US get confirmation and reminder emails with a link to view or cancel. Customer texts are not available here. You get an SMS and email whenever a booking comes in.

Can the assistant tell people whether Bogus Basin is open or how the river is running?

No. It has no live information and does not guess. It answers from your records and website and offers to hand the chat to you for anything else.

I do not have a website yet. Can I still do week one?

Yes. Skip the website scan, enter your information by hand, and share the chat link and QR code instead of a website chat window.

Is there anyone from AYDUKE in Boise?

No. AYDUKE is online software with no local office. Guides in the panel cover setup, and support is on the contact page.
