A year of posts for a beach town that never fully closes

Oceanfront summers, a quieter off-season and a large year-round community of military families and commuters: businesses in Virginia Beach talk to two audiences. This page is built around a sample content calendar, with notes on what AYDUKE schedules, answers and books along the way.

  • One post, published on schedule to Instagram, Facebook, Google and more
  • Messenger, Instagram DMs and website chat answered with your own info
  • Trips, tables and appointments booked inside the chat

Twelve months of posting for a coastal business

Use this as a starting point, not a rule. Shift the months to match your own trade.

In AYDUKE you write a post once, choose the accounts, and set one time. The platform check catches wrong image sizes or text that is too long before anything gets queued.

Two audiences sharing the same zip codes

Along Atlantic Avenue and the boardwalk, summer customers are on short stays and write in the evening from a hotel room: is there space tomorrow, how long is the trip, can we bring a cooler. A few miles inland near Town Center or Kempsville, the customers are neighbors who book the same haircut every four weeks and expect you to remember them. Naval Air Station Oceana and the Little Creek and Fort Story installations add families who arrive mid-year and look for providers fast.

Posting for both at once gets messy. A calendar that switches focus by season, and an assistant that knows your answers for each group, keeps it manageable when you are out on the water or behind the counter.

A July evening message to a fishing charter

An example conversation, not a real customer. Open seats come from the charter calendar, where each trip has a set capacity.

Customer: Hi, any seats left on a half-day trip Thursday? Four of us, two teenagers.
Assistant: Hi there. Thursday's morning half-day trip has four open seats. It runs about four and a half hours from the dock. Would you like me to hold them?
Customer: Yes. Will the water be calm?
Assistant: I cannot check live weather or sea conditions, so the captain decides on the morning of the trip. I have four seats reserved for Thursday morning. You will get a confirmation email with a link to view or cancel.
Customer: Sounds good, thanks.
Sample conversation. The assistant only answers from the information you give it.

Posting habits that hold up in peak season

  • Batch on Sunday Summer weeks leave no time for posting. Prepare seven days of posts in one sitting and let the queue handle the timing.
  • Lead with Instagram and Facebook Visitors find you through Instagram and Facebook groups for trip planning. Most local contact comes through Messenger and DMs, with WhatsApp used by far fewer customers.
  • Keep Google current Schedule updates to your Google Business Profile when hours change. AYDUKE schedules posts there; it does not answer Google reviews or messages.
  • Reuse good video The same short clip can go to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Copy the post, adjust the caption and schedule.

Businesses that live by the tide and the tourist season

  • Vacation rentals

Check-in rules, parking passes and pet policies answered from your records at any hour. More: vacation rentals.

  • Fishing charters and boat tours

Trips with a fixed number of seats, so group bookings stop at capacity. More: fishing charters, boat tours.

  • Turnover cleaning

Saturday changeovers fill up weeks ahead. Book visits in chat and add phone jobs by hand. More: cleaning services.

  • Beach weddings

Planners field consult requests from out-of-state couples. More: wedding planners.

  • Oceanfront dining

Table reservations with capacity per time slot. More: restaurants.

The assistant only knows what you tell it. It does not check tides, weather or beach advisories, and it will not invent a free seat or table. Open times always come from your calendar. When a question is outside its records, it offers to hand the chat to you.

Social media agency in Virginia Beach, or the calendar above on your own?

AYDUKE is software, not an agency. It will not shoot your photos or write your strategy. It will publish on time, reply to routine questions and take bookings. If an agency already handles your creative, they can plan inside the panel while AYDUKE takes care of timing and inbox.

If you run your own accounts

  • Draft mode lets you approve replies until you trust them
  • Bookings trigger an SMS and email alert to you
  • Customers get confirmation and reminder emails

If you manage accounts for Hampton Roads clients

  • Several clients in one panel, within your plan's account limit
  • All scheduled posts in a single calendar
  • XLSX or CSV reports for each monthly check-in
  • A free reseller program with commission while referred businesses pay

Set up in the off-season

  1. Connect accounts

Use your own developer app over OAuth. Step-by-step guides in the panel cover each platform.

  2. Teach the assistant

Give it your website. It reads up to 500 pages, refreshes weekly and picks up Shopify or WooCommerce catalogs. Add seasonal rules by hand.

  3. Build services with capacity

Seats per trip, tables per slot, or one client per appointment with a buffer.

  4. Queue the spring posts

Schedule April and May in March while you still have time.

Frequently asked questions

Does AYDUKE have staff at the Oceanfront or anywhere in Hampton Roads?

No. AYDUKE is online software without local offices. Setup runs through guides in the panel, and you can reach us on the contact page.

Our summer guests expect a text before their trip. What do they receive?

Customers in the US get confirmation and reminder emails with a link to view or cancel. Customer text messages are not available outside Turkey. You get new-booking alerts by SMS and email.

We close some weeks in winter. How do we stop bookings?

Add the dates as holidays or breaks in the calendar. Nobody can book those days through any channel.

Can we sell charter tickets or rental nights through the chat?

The chat can reserve a seat or a time. Payments and orders stay in your own channel, and the assistant can point customers there.

Several of our customers are military families who move often. Anything to set up?

Add answers for what they ask most, such as ID discounts if you offer them or how rebooking works after a move. The assistant uses those records in every reply.
