Ten questions Cleveland owners ask before they switch

Context

A city of practical buyers

The local economy leans on hospitals and research around University Circle, manufacturing that never fully left, and a downtown with Playhouse Square, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and three pro teams. Neighborhoods like Ohio City and Tremont are full of owner-run restaurants, shops and studios.

What these businesses share is a customer base that writes in the evening, a winter that cancels plans on short notice, and a long list of families visiting for medical appointments who need a hotel, a meal or a haircut close by. The questions below come from that reality.

The ten questions, with short answers

  • 1. Is AYDUKE an agency? No. It is software. You or your agency use it to schedule posts, answer messages and take bookings. It does not create content for you.
  • 2. Which platforms can it post to? Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, YouTube, Telegram, TikTok, Google My Business. Instagram needs a Business or Creator account and an image or video; YouTube and TikTok take video only.
  • 3. Where can it answer messages? Messenger, Instagram DMs, WhatsApp and Telegram, plus comments on Facebook, Instagram and Telegram. Not on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok or Google Business Profile.
  • 4. Will the AI make things up? It answers from your records and your website. If something is missing, it says so and offers to hand the chat to you.
  • 5. How does it learn my business? You enter general info, FAQs, products and rules, or import them from Excel or CSV. It can also read up to 500 pages of your site and rescan weekly, including Shopify and WooCommerce catalogs.
  • 6. Can customers book in the chat? Yes. They ask in plain words, like "Thursday after work", and the system shows real open times from your calendar.
  • 7. What do customers receive? Confirmation and reminder emails with a link to view or cancel. Customer text messages are not available in the US. You get new-booking alerts by SMS and email.
  • 8. How hard is setup? Moderate. Accounts connect through your own developer app over OAuth, with a step-by-step guide for each platform. Set aside real time for it; it is careful work rather than hard work.
  • 9. Can I control what it says? Yes: tone, style note, reply language, signature, working hours and a draft mode where you approve each reply.
  • 10. What about my agency or freelancer? They can work in the same panel. Agencies can also manage several client accounts within their plan's limit and join the free reseller program.

A visiting family writes to a hotel near University Circle

An example exchange, not a real guest. The hotel's rules and rates come from its records; room availability is handled in its own booking system.

Customer: Hi, we will be in town for about two weeks for my father's appointments. Do you have weekly rates and a shuttle?
Assistant: Hello, and thank you for thinking of us. We offer weekly rates for stays of seven nights or more, and a free shuttle to the medical campus runs every hour from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Customer: Great. Do rooms have a kitchen?
Assistant: All suites have a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and two burners. For dates and booking, you can use our reservation page, or I can pass you to the front desk.
Sample conversation. The assistant only answers from the information you give it.

The assistant never asked about the father's health. Keep it that way: no medical questions in chat or forms.

Frequently asked questions

Does AYDUKE have a team in Cleveland?

No. AYDUKE is online software without a local office. Setup runs through guides in the panel, and you can reach us via the contact page.

Lake-effect snow cancels half our day sometimes. What happens to bookings?

Customers can cancel through the link in their email. You can add a break in the calendar to stop new bookings and schedule a quick post about it.

Can the assistant tell guests whether Browns or Guardians games will affect parking?

No. It has no live information. Add your standard game-day parking notes to the records and it will share those.

We are a medical-adjacent business. Any rules for chat?

Keep chat and booking forms free of health details. Health privacy rules may apply to you, so check your obligations with a qualified advisor; this is not legal advice.
