Getting found by people who just moved to Charlotte

New residents keep arriving for banking, tech and healthcare jobs, and they start from zero: no regular barber, no brunch spot, no dentist. Most of them begin on Google Maps. This page is about keeping your Google profile and social accounts current for those searches, and catching the messages that follow.

  • Google, Instagram and Facebook posts planned in one calendar
  • Google reviews and Q&A stay in Google; AYDUKE schedules the posts
  • Newcomers can ask and book in the chat linked from your profile

New in town

How a newcomer picks a business

Someone who moved to South End last month searches "barbershop near me" on the way home, opens two or three profiles on Google Maps and looks at what is recent: a post from this week, hours that make sense, photos that match the place. Then they tap through to Instagram or your website and send a message.

Growth here has been driven by banking and finance, with tech and healthcare close behind, and many new residents come from other states. They bring habits from their old city and no local ones yet. That window, before they settle on a regular place, is when a current profile and a quick reply count most.

In AYDUKE, the Google Business Profile is for post scheduling: you plan Google posts in the same calendar as Instagram and Facebook. Reviews and Q&A on Google do not come into AYDUKE, so answer those in your Google account.

What to post on your Google profile, and how often

There is no magic frequency. A rhythm you can keep beats a burst followed by silence.

  • Weekly: something current A service, a seasonal item or a new team member, with one photo. It shows searchers that you are active.
  • Before any change: hours Holidays, race weekends, big events Uptown. Schedule the post a week ahead.
  • Monthly: an offer or an event A class, a tasting, a trunk show. Reuse the text on Instagram and Facebook, adjusted for length.
  • Always: a clear next step Point people to your chat link, where they can ask a question or book.

An example conversation, not a real patient. A newcomer found a dental office on Google and opened the chat link from its profile; the times come from the office calendar.

Customer: Hi, I just moved here. Are you taking new patients? Looking for a cleaning in the next couple of weeks
Assistant: Hi, and welcome. Yes, we are accepting new patients. A new-patient visit with cleaning takes about 90 minutes. Next Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. and the following Thursday at 1:30 p.m. are open. Would either work?
Customer: Thursday 1:30. Do you take my insurance?
Assistant: Our front desk confirms insurance, so I have flagged that question for them. Please do not send insurance or health details here. I have Thursday at 1:30 p.m. ready; once you confirm, a confirmation email with a link to view or cancel arrives, and a reminder email follows before the visit.
Customer: Ok, confirming
Sample conversation. The assistant only answers from the information you give it.

"Insurance" is a handover keyword here. Keep the booking form to name, contact details and time, and do not collect health or insurance information in the chat. AYDUKE does not claim HIPAA compliance.

A Charlotte social media agency, or keeping it in-house?

Some businesses hire an agency mainly to keep their profiles current. AYDUKE is not an agency. It is software for scheduling Google, Instagram and Facebook posts yourself and answering the messages they bring. If an agency creates your photos or campaigns, keep them; the scheduling and replies can still run in AYDUKE.

Frequently asked questions

Will AYDUKE reply to our Google reviews?

No. Google reviews and Q&A do not come into AYDUKE. For Google, it schedules posts only; reply to reviews in your Google account.

Can we schedule Google posts around race weeks and big Uptown events?

Yes, plan them as far ahead as you like. The assistant does not know about live events or traffic, so put any changed hours in the knowledge base as well.

Do new clients in Charlotte get text reminders?

No. In the US, customers get a confirmation email and a reminder email with a link to view or cancel. Texts to customers currently work only for Turkish numbers; your new-booking alerts still come by SMS and email.

We are a financial advisory firm. Can we approve every reply before it goes out?

Yes. Keep the assistant in draft mode and nothing is sent until you approve it. Limit it to scheduling and general information you wrote, and apply your own compliance review to what you publish.

Does AYDUKE have an office in Charlotte?

No. AYDUKE is remote software. Setup happens in the panel with guides, and you can reach us through the contact page.
