About the Turkish Exam Net Calculator
Calculate your net score for Turkish YKS (Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı) exams — TYT and AYT. The standard formula deducts one-quarter of wrong answers from correct answers: Net = Correct − (Wrong / 4).

Frequently asked questions
How is net calculated in YKS?
Net = Correct − (Wrong ÷ 4). Blank answers are not penalised. This formula has been standard since the transition to YKS.
How many questions are in TYT?
TYT has 120 questions: 40 Turkish, 40 Mathematics, 20 Science, 20 Social Studies. Time limit: 135 minutes.
Is leaving blank better than guessing?
With 5 options and ¼ penalty, random guessing is statistically neutral. If you can eliminate one option, guessing becomes beneficial.
