About Ayduke
We build calculators that show their working. No sign-up, no paywalled results, no invented numbers.
What Ayduke is
Ayduke is a library of more than a hundred online tools for the things people actually need to work out: a mortgage payment, a tax bill, a VAT split, a calorie target, a unit conversion, a JSON payload, a meta tag. Everything runs in the browser or on one server request, and every tool is free to use without an account.
The site is operated from London, United Kingdom and is available in English, German, Turkish, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. Each language gets the tools that country genuinely needs — Turkish visitors get severance pay and net salary calculators built on Turkish law, German visitors get a Brutto-Netto calculator built on the German tariff formula, UK visitors get PAYE and Stamp Duty.
How we build a calculator
Every tool follows the same process:
- Find the authoritative rule. Tax bands come from the national tax authority, not from another calculator site. Health formulas are named (Mifflin-St Jeor, US Navy method, WHO cut-offs) so you can check them yourself.
- Implement it exactly. Amortisation schedules are computed period by period rather than approximated. Unit factors use the exact legal definition where one exists — an inch is exactly 25.4 mm.
- Show the working. Results include the breakdown: which band was applied, how much interest accrued each year, what the intermediate values were.
- State the limits. Where a figure is an estimate, the page says so and links to the official source.
Keeping figures current
Rates and thresholds live in a small number of dedicated data files so they can be updated quickly and consistently. We review them:
- at the start of each tax year for the UK (April), Germany and Turkey (January);
- whenever a budget or in-year change alters a threshold;
- continuously for exchange rates, which come from the European Central Bank reference feed and are cached for a few hours.
Each country tool displays the tax year it is using. If you spot a figure that has moved, tell us and we will fix it — see our editorial standards for how corrections work.
Privacy in one paragraph
We do not want your data. Values you type into a calculator are used to compute the answer for that single request and are then discarded — nothing is written to a database, and we do not build profiles. The site is funded by advertising, which is clearly labelled and kept out of the results area. Full detail is in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
How the site is funded
Ayduke is free because advertising pays for it. We do not take payment to change a calculation, we do not run affiliate links inside results, and we do not place advertising on our legal or contact pages. If a tool ever recommends a product, it will be labelled as such.
Get in touch

Frequently asked questions
Who writes the tools?
A small team of developers and editors. Formulas and tax rules are implemented against primary sources and reviewed before publication; every country tool names the source it follows.
Can I use Ayduke results in professional work?
Use them as a well-documented estimate and verify anything that carries risk with the official source or a qualified professional. Our disclaimer explains the limits.
Do you accept guest posts or paid links?
No. We do not publish sponsored articles, paid links or third-party press releases.
