About the Pregnancy Due Date Calculator
Calculate your estimated due date (EDD) using Naegele's rule from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP), or from a known conception date, or from ultrasound measurements.
The tool displays a trimester timeline with key development milestones and how many weeks pregnant you are today.
How to use the Pregnancy Due Date Calculator
- Select the calculation method (LMP, conception or ultrasound).
- Enter the relevant date.
- Adjust cycle length if it differs from 28 days.
- View your EDD, current week and trimester timeline.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is the due date?
Only about 4% of babies are born on their EDD. Most arrive within two weeks either side. First-trimester ultrasound dating is the most accurate method (±5 days).
What if my cycle is longer than 28 days?
The calculator adjusts for your cycle length. Longer cycles shift the estimated ovulation (and due date) later.
Can I use this if I had IVF?
For IVF, use the conception date method with the embryo transfer date minus the embryo age (e.g. 5-day blastocyst: transfer date minus 5 days = conception).
