Frequently asked questions

How is total time calculated with multiple entries?

Each entry is calculated individually (end − start) and all durations are summed. Breaks are subtracted from the total.

What does rounding to quarter-hours mean?

Total minutes are rounded up to the next 15-minute increment. Common in legal and consulting billing.

Can I enter overnight shifts?

Yes. If the end time is before the start time, it is treated as crossing midnight.
